This text was conceived by the original author and grew in the experience which followed the introduction of x-ray therapy at the turn of the century. It became a standard reference in this therapeutic field. It has the experience of the original author and it has been reviewed and supplemented by a dedicated group of collaborators in its previous editions. The present volume is a blend of the experience of the senior author with the enthusiastic support and contributions of his new associate. They have revised the standard text to give it a continued useful life in the advancing field of medical progress.
There will be fewer experienced radiotherapists as the indications for such treatment diminish with the introduction of new methods. The need for a source book both for storage and reference to accumulated experience exists, for less instruction is now available in this field. This volume will fill
