WELCOME to the Fourth Workshop of The Association of Professors of Dermatology. The Association of Professors of Dermatology, sponsored by the American Academy of Dermatology, has held three spring workshops. The first two, in 1964 and 1965, were devoted to undergraduate teaching of dermatology to the medical students; the third in 1966, sponsored and financed jointly by the American Academy of Dermatology and the Department of Postgraduate Programs of the American Medical Association, was devoted to the subject of continuing education of nondermatologists and dermatologists.
The Association of Professors of Dermatology was established by a group of dedicated and foresighted educators in the field of dermatology in 1960. This group has functioned under the aegis and support, both intellectual and financial, of the American Academy of Dermatology which as you know is an organization devoted to the improvement of education in all aspects of dermatology.
