Thallium Poisoning: Report of a Case Successfully Treated With Dithizone

A case of thallium poisoning is reported. The patient exhibited alopecia and neurological signs, and responded to treatment with dithizone.

The literature pertinent to the use of dithizone and diethyldithiocarbamate in the treatment of thallium poisoning is reviewed.
