Scientific Papers.—
Applications are now being accepted for scientific papers to be read before the Section on Dermatology at the 120th annual convention of the American Medical Association, June 20 to 24, 1971, Atlantic City, NJ. Those who wish to present papers should request an application form from the section secretary, E. Richard Harrell, MD, Department of Dermatology, University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Mich 48104. The deadline for this program is Jan 1, 1971.
Honors.—
On the occasion of the joint meeting of the Mexican Academy of Dermatology, the Canadian Association of Dermatology, and the Central American Association of Dermatology. Drs. Orlando Canizares and J. Walter Wilson were honored. They received an official "homage" for their noteworthy efforts which they have exerted on behalf of dermatology in Latin America during the past 20 years.Noted individuals spoke and presided at the ceremony.
