Abstract

A 71-year-old woman with dermatitis herpetiformis (DH) was treated with dapsone and developed a phototoxic dermatitis. Subsequently, lesions that were consistent with discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE) developed on the exposed skin. Immunofluorescent studies confirmed the presence of both DH and DLE in this patient.
