Abstract

A previously reported case of malignant melanoma developing in a preexisting intradermal nevus had a fatal termination due to widespread metastatses. We have seen an additional case of possible malignant melanoma developing in a preexisting intradermal nevus. Although malignant transformation of intradermal nevi is rare, it is important to recognize that it may occur.
