To the Editor.—
I did not state nor mean to imply in my article on bullous pemphigoid and dermatitis herpetiformis that if a disease responds to sulfones, it cannot be bullous pemphigoid.I merely indicated that if a disease responds to sulfones and has all the other characteristics (age of onset, clinical lesions, immunofluorescent studies), which were specified in my article, then it is highly probable that it is dermatitis herpetiformis.
