Regarding the article entitled "Kaposi Sarcoma-like Granuloma on Diaper Dermatitis" by Uyeda et al in the Archives (107-605-607, 1973), I would ask the authors to consider the papular form of papulolenticular erythema (posterosive syphiloid of Sivestre and Jacquet) in the differential diagnosis. References to this condition can be found in standard dermatology texts.1,2
