Secondary Syphilis Presenting as a Pruritic Dermatosis

Arch Dermatol. 1977;113(4):489-490. doi:10.1001/archderm.1977.01640040097016
Abstract

• Three patients had secondary syphilis with severely pruritic skin lesions. This presentation contradicts several modern medical texts in which the lesions of secondary syphilis are described as nonpruritic.
