Scholarship Program for Dermatologic Surgery.—
The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery announces its seventh annual scholarship program, which will emphasize the scope and importance of surgery in dermatology and disseminate surgical knowledge and training in our speciality. A number of grants of variable amounts and for variable periods will be awarded to defray some or all of the expenses of such training. Applicants must be in an approved dermatology residency training program and finish the surgical elective at least six months before the completion of the residency, be a full-time faculty member in an approved dermatology program, or be actively involved in a dermatology training program in some other capacity. Surgical training in teaching institutions and private practices are acceptable. Other proposals for obtaining training suggested by the candidates will be considered.
