Hair Replacement Surgery: An International Symposium.
Daniel E. Rousso, MD, is directing a course on hair replacement surgery from March 3 through 6, 1994, in Birmingham, Ala. The international symposium is a major course sponsored by the Education and Research Foundation for the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The symposium is designed for both the novice as well as the experienced practitioner involved in hair replacement surgery. The most recent advances in hair transplantation, minigrafting, micrografting, scalp reductions, extensive scalp lifting, flaps, and tissue expansion will be covered by an exceptional international, multidisciplinary faculty. Additionally, there were be a general overview on hair replacement surgery, and attendees will have an opportunity to discuss complications, different uses of anesthetics, and surgery as an in-clinic procedure.
