An 83-year-old man presented with a 2-year history of a slowly growing solitary nodule on the distal end of his left middle finger (Figure 1). The patient reported occasional tenderness at the site, but the lesion was otherwise asymptomatic. He reported nohistory of trauma to the area. His medical and dermatological history was noncontributory. The patient was normolipidemic.
