In the Original Investigation titled “Influence of Information Framing on Patient Decisions to Treat Actinic Keratosis,” published online January 18, 2017, in JAMA Dermatology,1 incorrect information about participant compensation was inadvertently provided. In the second paragraph of the Methods section, the second-to-last sentence was given as follows: “Participants were excluded if they did not meet inclusion criteria or did not consent to participate; there was no financial compensation.” That sentence should be replaced with the following: “Participants were excluded if they did not meet inclusion criteria or did not consent to participate. Participants recruited from the dermatology clinic were not compensated. However, because Amazon requires some amount of compensation, those enrolled through the mTurk platform received $0.02.” This article was corrected online.
