The Archives of Dermatology along with jama and other ARCHIVES journals will publish a theme issue devoted to medical applications of biotechnology in early 2005. Original research papers on clinical applications of biotechnology are requested as well as scholarly articles discussing the opportunities and challenges for translating these novel discoveries into clinical practice. Authors should consult the Instructions for Authors at www.archdermatol.com for guidelines on manuscript preparation and submission. Manuscripts must be received before October 1, 2004, to allow for appropriate consideration.
