6:30 am. I felt a cool breeze as I was surrounded by the hums of Interstate 40. The forecast predicted a high chance of thunderstorms, hail, and heavy winds. I smiled; when’s the forecast ever right anyway? Just another day of typical Oklahoma weather, 1 day with sweltering highs of 38°C, the next with a freeze factor of 0°C. Heavy winds and thunderstorms. Barely enough to make one think twice.
