To the Editor We read with interest the article by Sartori and colleagues1 regarding the safety of single ultrasonography to rule out upper-extremity deep vein thrombosis (UE-DVT) in outpatients. Some aspects of the current work and differences with our recent diagnostic management study2 require attention and may help to direct future research in the field.
