In the article “Safety and Benefit of Discontinuing Statin Therapy in the Setting of Advanced, Life-Limiting Illness: A Randomized Clinical Trial,”1 a coding error was discovered after publication that affected summary scores for 2 of the secondary outcomes. Data in the Abstract, paragraph 4 of the Results section of the main article, Table 2, and Figure 3 were affected, and a letter of explanation2 was published to describe in detail the errors and how they occurred. This article has been corrected online.
