To the Editor In their recently published Teachable Moment,1 Pedley and Khalili underscore the perils of not obtaining a sexual history in older adults. Although their effort to remedy disparate sexual history–taking practices among the elderly is a step in the right direction, their proposed assessment may alienate at-risk patients and miss valuable screening opportunities.
