I would like to thank Hoskins et al for their interest in our article. We made clear in the text of our contribution that “we did not try to produce an exhaustive list of the available databases offering information on articles published in biomedical journals around the world.”1(p1204) Instead,
“our aim was to generate an initial list of such databases that may gradually be expanded by the input of the scientific community.”1(p1204) Thus, the input of our colleagues adding some more relevant databases is welcome and valuable.
