We appreciate Cohen's comments on the possible role that testosterone plays in the pathogenesis of coronary heart disease (CHD). We fully concur with his statement that "there are differing opinions regarding testosterone and its association with CHD." A major reason for this continuing controversy is that few long-term cohort studies or clinical trials have addressed this issue.1
