National Gastroenterological Association 1946 Award Contest.
—The National Gastroenterological Association announces the establishment of an annual cash prize of $100 and a certificate of merit for the best unpublished contribution on gastroenterology or allied subjects. Certificates will also be awarded those physicians whose contributions are deemed worthy.Contestants residing in the United States must be members of the American Medical Association. Those residing in foreign countries must be members of a similar organization in their own country. The award is to be made at the annual convention banquet of the National Gastroenterological Association, to be held at the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York city on Thursday evening, June 20, 1946.All entries for the 1946 prize should be limited to five thousand words, typewritten in English, prepared in manuscript form, submitted in five copies and accompanied with an entry letter; entries must be received not later than May 1, 1946.
