The fact that this is the fourth edition bears witness to the good qualities of this book: it is not too large, the format is attractive, the illustrations are plentiful and well reproduced, the text is to the point and clearly written, and the general introductory chapters are adequate. The discussions of therapy are reasonable and up to date and "legendary" dermatological material has been pretty well culled out.
