This little monograph of 120 pages has been written by a man who is thoroughly versed in the treatment of diabetes and who, in addition, is an excellent teacher. He would be the first to acknowledge that there is no such thing as THE treatment of diabetes. What he is describing is A treatment, and a very excellent one. Any physician who follows these principles will be bringing excellent care to his patients, and any patient who will cooperate with such a physician should be rewarded with an essentially normal, if somewhat disciplined, existence.
