ANNOUNCEMENTS
General Practice Meeting.
—More than 5000 physicians will attend the Eighth Annual American Academy of General Practice Scientific Assembly, March 19-22, 1956, in the Washington, D. C., Armory.During the four-day scientific meeting, 26 outstanding speakers will discuss subjects ranging from cardiac emergencies to primary wound repair. There will be more than 60 scientific and 250 technical exhibits. Highlights of the program include two live clinics, a symposium on obstetrics, and an address by Surgeon General Leonard Scheele. Special tours through the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Md., have been arranged. All sessions of the Congress and many social functions will be held in the Hotel Statler.
