This 246-page, paper-bound volume is more than a monograph. It can be used as a textbook dealing with this particular type of arthritis, and it is thoroughly and adequately presented by the two authors. It should be in the library of every specialist in the treatment of arthritic diseases and available as a reference book to every physician who treats arthritis in any of its forms. This is the third book of a series which has been planned under the direction of Prof. Dr. Rudolph Schoen, Director of Medicine in the University Clinic and Polyclinic in Göttingen, Germany. The title for the entire series of books, of which this is one volume, is "Der Rheumatismus."
