The author states in his introduction the hope that his monograph will be of assistance to some physicians. It is difficult for the reviewer to identify any group that would benefit from reading this book. There are a number of textbooks, some referred to in the author's bibliography which contain brief and clear discussions of endocrine diseases. In contrast, the discussions in this book are not helpful, factual errors are numerous, and many therapeutic suggestions are unsound.
