This short booklet, written by a British physiotherapist, is apparently intended for perusal by the patient. It is written in lay language and is replete with line drawings to illustrate various anatomic relationships pertaining to vertebral column function, various body positions during the activities of daily living, and various exercises.
It is doubted that physicians or physical therapists will find much that is new in this text. Nevertheless, the lay individual who finds himself with a back or neck problem and who wishes to read something about it will find a great deal of valuable information contained in this booklet.
