This book may well be classic documenting man's ingenuity in insinuating alien objects into his innards. It would seem that Doctor Sawyer has made somewhat of a hobby of collecting case reports describing common-place objects lodging in strange pastures. But this monograph is not merely a vast listing of incredible flotsam since the author is concerned with proper diagnosis and refined methods of extraction. It is a lively text, deftly written.
