This book contains 13 chapters, written by 17 distinguished clinicians and pharmacologists. The subjects include chemotherapy of malignant disease, diuretics, oxygen and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cardiac drugs, antimicrobial chemotherapy, control of hyperlipidemia, fibrinolytic agents, the place of magnesium in therapeutics, drugs affecting fertility, and the role of drugs in blood pressure regulation. The presentations are uniformly scholarly. Most references are of 1965 vintage; there are rare citations from 1966 and 1967 literature.
