This concise little volume on management of hemophiliac diseases contains all the facts needed to understand treatment. However, it could have been more readable. Integrating tables and figures into the text, rather than clustering them together at the end, gives rise to a broken reading pattern and requires too much page turning. The facts as presented are current, and the brevity of the text precludes redundancy and rephrasing of pertinent points.
This book is recommended to all physicians involved in treating coagulation disorders; it is a short factual guide—a primer and nothing more.
