This is the second volume of a planned annual publication. Each folio consists of 50 plates of karyotypes of mammalian species gathered into toxonomic groupings; new ones will be added each year. Full page photographs of karyotypes are accompanied by brief descriptions of autosomes, sex chromosomes, and source of material. The loose leaf format is easy to manipulate. This unusual compendium will be valuable to the cytogenetics library.
