This introduction to the physiology of the endocrine system in man is most welcome since it is written by a clinician with human applications in mind. The author has presented his material in a simple fashion which is easy to read. He has supplied liberal references for those interested in further reading. He appears to have made a very real attempt to include the most up-to-date information available up to the time of publication. I have no hesitation in recommending this book, both for medical students and for graduates in medicine who wish to review their understanding of the endocrine system.
