This is a compendium of papers presented in April 1969 at the International Symposium on the Current Status of Liquid Scintillation Counting. Six chapters present basic mechanisms, uses, techniques of labeling, quenching, chemoluminescence and data handling. Forty-eight participants, mostly PhD's, discuss this newest dimension in medical isotopic capability. It is terribly heavy stuff for the rank and file.
