Abstract

Pathologist Sheldon Somers has drafted another outstanding crew and had them write essays reviewing their areas of special interest. The result is a fascinating, in-depth plunge into several different aspects of contemporary pathology. Subjects ranging from embryonal cell carcinoma of the testes to Frederick the Great's laryngeal carcinoma to the pathogenicity of antigen-antibody reactions, and 13 other subjects of comparable interest complete the book. It is delightful, informal reading with no pretense at being a grand review of pathology.
