Abstract

The authors have compiled a succinct and readable account of the current understanding of the physiology of reproduction in the human, with pertinent supporting data derived from animal studies. This small volume should have appeal to the endocrinologist, obstetrician, gynecologist, neurologist, physiologist, pharmacologist, and all of those individuals concerned with the biological aspects of "population explosion." This account is of the highest scientific quality and is heartily recommended.
