This book is basically a manual on the management of diabetes mellitus in the juvenile. The cost is rather high. Nevertheless, it would appear to be a very useful guide to all of those involved in the management of the juvenile diabetic. A feature of the book is the inclusion of advice regarding paramedical problems confronting the diabetic patient. It could well be of use to the intelligent and emotionally controlled parent. One would hope that future editions might be produced in a less expensive format.
