In this issue, pediatrician Jay Arena, who has written extensively in the area of clinical toxicology, updates his splendid Symposium on Poisoning published four years ago. Coauthors Zavon, Done, Shirkey, and others, all old hands in toxicology and pharmacology, round out the team. This is a comprehensive, eminently practical rendition, replete with handy charts and grafts.
Bonus papers are a discussion of "Management of Tetanus" by Christensen, "Digitalis Therapy" by Chung, and a marvelous essay on the eye in the diagnosis of neurologic disease by Cunningham. This is an impressive issue.
