This is a spiral-bound paperback publication designed in a programmed format that presents case histories along with appropriate laboratory studies followed by appropriate questions. Although the pages are small, the reproductions of electrocardiograms, x-ray films, and other graphic material is for the most part completely satisfactory. The common kinds of heart disease including ischemic, valvular, congenital, and myopathic ailments are well covered. A book of this type should be of special interest to internists preparing for "board" examinations.
