—I congratulate Lacroce for his spanning of two cultures. To answer his question, I did not use the product because I did not know of its existence. Indeed, I did not know of the existence of the publication he cites, Facts and Comparisons Inc, a pharmacist's vade mecum. The 500-and 1,000-μg tablets of cyancobalamin are not mentioned in the Physician's Desk Reference, or in AMA Drug Evaluations, or in the United States Pharmacopeia, which are the references available to physicians. Pharmacists during the years have told me there is no such product.

It is good to learn that an effective oral dose of cyancobalamin is on the market.
