To the Editor.
—The Hemochromatosis Research Foundation Inc was formed to promote awareness that hereditary hemochromatosis is a common genetic disorder rarely diagnosed before it is clinically manifest, to prevent the associated chronic diseases by earlier case finding, to form regional chapters and establish a national registry, and to solicit funds for prevalence studies and research. Interested physicians may contact M. A. Krikker, MD, PO Box 8569, Albany, NY 12208.
