—In the article entitled "Mild Hypertension: When and How to Treat," published in the February Archives (1983;143:255-259), a sentence contained an incorrect word. On page 257, in the "Treatment" section, left-hand column, the word "week" should have been used instead of "day"; the sentence beginning in the 12th line should have read as follows: "Although not included in the review of Andrews et al, the consumption of 30 to 60 mL of ethanol per week may lower the BP while it protects against death from cardiovascular disease.15"

Also on page 257, right-hand column, a sentence was omitted from the body of Fig 3: beneath "Drug" and "Nondrug," above the shaded columns, and between the brackets, insert "End Diastolic BP <100 mm Hg in All Patients."
