—In the article entitled "Diuretic Regimens in Essential Hypertension," published in the September Archives (1983; 143:1694-1699), errors appeared in Tables 1, 2, and 3. In Table 1 (p 1695), a plus sign, not a dagger, should have followed K in the last column heading. In Table 2 (p 1697), a section mark should have followed the fourth entry in the systolic BP column, parallels should have replaced the superscript c after the eighth entry in the last column, the fifth entry in the last column should have been 121±6, and the second footnote should have read "Average prescribed potassium supplement dosage was 37 mEq/day." In Table 3 (p 1698), the third footnote should have read, "In this combination, triamterene was 100 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 50 mg per day."
