Abstract

The care of the terminally ill Patient has received increasing attention during the last decade. This book provid important aspects in the treatment patients whose persistent complain are usually neglected in favor of m[ill] "reversible" problems. The autho[ill] provide succinct reviews of [ill] pathophysiology of pain, cough, [ill] nary and gastrointestinal tract syn[ill] toms and offer practical measures alleviate them. The use of oral m[ill] phine for cancer-related pain is emp[ill] sized and attention is also focused the psychologic issues that affect [ill] cancer patient.
