In Reply.—HHOG seems a bit too gross to be an acceptable mnemonic for the features associated with upper body obesity. Most of us (unfortunately I share the "middle-age spread" typical of American men) really have not been pigging out so much as just slowly eating more and exercising less.
Moreover, the features are, unfortunately, so common in our population that one really does not need help to remember what they are.
