We at JAMA Internal Medicine are excited to announce a newly redesigned website to coincide with the launch of a new online JAMA Network platform (http://www.jamanetwork.com/journals/jamainternalmedicine). Key features of this new site include the following:
In addition to abstracts, research articles will also feature a Key Points summary that will succinctly distill the research question, results, and significance in 100 words or less.
Prominent links next to the abstract will take users to related content, such as multimedia, author interviews, Editorials, and Invited Commentaries.
Our new split-screen format for articles presents article text on the left and related Tables, Figures, and multimedia on the right. This will allow users to view article full-text and Tables and Figures side by side without clicking or scrolling.
Suggested articles and content will be personalized to our readers based on your expressed interests as well as history of previously viewed articles. Such suggestions will take you to articles across the JAMA Network, so long as the topics are aligned with your interests.
The website is designed to load quickly, and is optimized to be viewed on any device, whether desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
We appreciate the countless hours of hard work invested by the JAMA Network Digital Team to allow us to provide our readers with the best possible experience while accessing our content.1 Please let us know how you like this new website or any suggestions for improvements or additional features you would like to see by emailing jamainternalmed@jamanetwork.org. We welcome your feedback.
