Error in Editorial Note

JAMA Intern Med. 2019;179(3):456-457. doi:10.1001/jamainternmed.2018.7695

In the letter titled “Re-examining the Association Between ‘4/20’ and Fatal Crashes—Doobie-ous Data?” by Aydelotte et al,1 the Editorial Note in the acknowledgment section was incorrect; it stated that the corresponding author of the original article, John A. Staples, MD, MPH, was shown the letter, when in fact he was not. Staples and Redelmeier2 have written a letter in response. This article has been corrected online.
