The second edition of Current Diagnosis and Treatment: Neurology, edited by John C. M. Brust, a professor of neurology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and the director of the Department of Neurology at Harlem Hospital Center in New York, follows the format of the first edition. It is a multiauthor text, which is divided into 2 parts. The first part is entitled “Neurologic Investigations” and discusses all the modern diagnostic methods applied in neurology, such as clinical neurophysiology and neuroradiology. The second part, entitled “Neurologic Disorders,” comprises the whole spectrum of neurological conditions, such as stroke, movement and muscle disorders, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, headache, and dementia.
