To the Editor The Viewpoint by Culbertson and Gold1 provides insight into the rapidly evolving science and policies behind magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations in patients with implanted cardiac devices. The authors present an excellent summary of the desirability of expanding MRI services to this large group of patients while also highlighting the logistical complexities (and changing governmental regulations) of doing so safely and practically.
