International Symposium of Stereoencephalotomy.—
An International Symposium on Stereoencephalotomy (Stereotaxic Surgery) has been organized by the Cerebral Stereotaxic Institute of Temple University under the direction of Drs. E. A. Spiegel and Henry T. Wycis and will be presented at the Temple University Medical Center, 3401 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, on Oct. 11, 1961. The morning session will include the presentation of many phases of stereotaxic surgery by well-known authorities from France, Germany, and Sweden as well as from the United States. During the afternoon session Extrapyramidal Disorders will be discussed by distinguished investigators from Brazil, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States. There will be an exhibit of stereotaxic apparatus. There is no registration or attendance fee. Inquiries should be sent to Dr. Henry T. Wycis, 3401 N. Broad St., Philadelphia 40, Pa., U.S.A.
