To the many students of neuroanatomy and neurology who have had the privilege of attending Dr. Louis Hausman's course in neuroanatomy and brain model construction, this book will come as a pleasant and forceful reminder of the excellence of his lectures and the quality of his illustrations. This is Dr. Hausman's third atlas, which completes the series designed to make his course, "Neuroanatomy and Brain Model Construction," available to any interested person. This book contains the illustrations and diagrams used by the author in his lecture course. They have been refined and sharpened over the years to make clear to students the concept of the segmental and suprasegmental nervous systems and to bring out the relevant clinical data pertaining to each system.
The first section covers the segmental nervous system, its development and mature anatomy. The diagrams in general illustrate the afferent and efferent connections for each segment. Each diagram
